Music for every mood – I

We all know music is an amazing way of self expression and self escape. Earlier, we’ve talked about how music makes us feel. And as diverse as the responses are one thing’s for sure – music does make us feel. Something. Anything. It evokes in us something different, it stirs up something from within and that’s immensely powerful.

As Aldous Huxley said, “After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”

We think there’s a song for every mood and sometimes, when you need your go-to songs the most, they have this tendency of completely eluding you. So we figured, we’d put together a list of songs to suit each mood.

But…but…here’s the thing – we’d like YOU to tell us your favourite songs for each mood. Yup, just write them in the comments below and the most popular ones will be screened, selected and featured in our next blog post.

How cool is that? You to get to put up your playlist on our blog!

You listen to music when you are:

  1. When you’re angry
  2. When you want to move on
  3. When you’re sad and cranky
  4. When you want to dance
  5. When you’re happy and peachy
  6. When you’re feeling mushy

So, go on delve into your music history…iPods, CDs, old tapes and put forth your musical foot.
